Be part of history.
The Coker campus dates back to the mid-1800s and is a part of the historical narrative of San Antonio. The church pledges to love our neighbors from birth through baptism and into their final resting place. The Columbarium Ministry is pleased to provide a final resting place, consecrated in a spirit of dignity and reverence, for the ashes of loved ones at eternal rest with our Lord.
What is a Columbarium?
A Columbarium, which has compartments known as Niches, is a dedicated, consecrated and permanent structure, designed to hold the ashes of individuals in boxes known as Urns. The Columbarium serves as the final resting place for loved ones.
Why have a Columbarium?
Having a Columbarium on Coker church grounds revives the age‐old tradition of the church to serve its members from baptism to death. It is a statement of our faith in the resurrection, the life everlasting, and the church triumphant.
